If you were to take a week long car trip with your family or friends, what complaint are you most likely to hear from your fellow travelers? What complaint would they most likely hear from you?

If I fell asleep in the car they probably would complain that I snored. I would probably complain about missed exits or driving too fast or tailgating!

What or who encourages the child in you to come out and play?

Woo hoo! A random day here from Miss Fleur de Lisa. Alrighty! Let's get started!!!

Imagine you are on a first date and the person you are with has food stuck in his/her teeth. Would you tell him/her? What if he/she had food on their chin, nose or shirt?
If I like them I would tell them. If I didn't, then I would leave it there so I could secretly laugh and smile to pass away the time until the end of the painful date was over. Am I mean? Ya maybe.

What breakfast cereal best describes your personality?
Kellogg's Muesli ~ variety, a little bit of sweet, a little bit of sassy salt, healthy and good for you! lol now if only I believed that!

Who would you most like to have a dream about tonight? What would you like to dream?
I would like to dream about going away on a r0mantic holiday with my husband. Rekindle our flame and do fun stuff like snorkeling, scuba diving, beach walks, shell collecting, relaxing and vegging out together. Ah bliss!

What is your favorite part of spring? Your least favorite?

The sense of renewal in the environment. The mud and income taxes, but not in that order!

It's Severe Weather Preparedness Week this week. What's the most severe weather event you've experienced?

The ice storm in Ottawa in 1998. Actually my family didn't have it too bad. We were only without power for less than 24 hours. Some people were without it for over 3 weeks!! Library and Archives Canada - SOS! Canadian Disasters. More in wikipedia.

Daylight Savings Time begins next Sunday, three weeks earlier than in previous years. How do you feel about DST? Love it, hate it, couldn't care less?

Love it and am glad it's being moved earlier.

What do you feel is the biggest waste of time?

Getting washed and dressed each day ready for the world. I begrudge the time I spend doing that though I am pretty fast.

If I knew then what I know now, I ....
would have been more diligent with our Finances in the earlier years of our marriage.

How do you feel your life has changed over the past year?

Well let's see ~ my father has sold two homes (one in Florida and his primary residence here) and I've been there to help him with it (feels like lotsa change right there).

I have a new job in the same organization (it's all good but pretty challenging and stressful so far) and new boss (my previous boss was recently downsized).

I took up blogging big time and spend a lot of my spare time doing that (it's free and entertaining).

I bought myself a new bike and took up biking again.

What is the quality that you like least about yourself?

Hmmmm...gonna make me sweat here ay?

I guess I would have to say my intolerance.

I know that God put all different people on the earth for good reason, and we are all different and complement one another and in my sane moments I am kool with that. But if I get put out or inconvenienced or have to do extra work or whatever, because someone doesn't do something the same way I would do it, or is just a plain stupid idiot, I get really bent out of shape and I don't like that in myself.

The best way I deal with it is to laugh about it, but sometimes I am steaming under the surface, especially if it's a close loved one, because I feel they should know better, or they don't love me enough to now be putting me through this extra hassle. That's how my stupid brain works. I need a new one ... or a more tolerant heart.

My life would be simpler if...

I had an accountant (inside joke).

Do you generally take the high road or the low road?

I most always take the high road. I rarely let it out, especially with people I don't know. I might sling some mud with close family members (i.e hubby and kids) but that is all. They say we often hurt the ones we love the most. This is true for me.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Having a pedicure or a facial.
