1. Got no good ideas for TT today.
2. Feels like I'm running all the time, figuratively.
3. I need to get new running shoes.
4. Yesterday when I ran my shins were hurting.
5. I hate that.
6. I heard that the temperature it supposed to go up to 20 today! (70 F).
7. It snowed just on Monday.
8. Stuff like that makes me laugh.
9. What's with all the tragedies that occur at schools and colleges?
10. My condolences to all impacted, and then some, at Virginia tech.
11. I have a little secret that I need to blog about.
12. I haven't had time, but when I do it will be on ICL Talks.
13. It's a good one, but is kinda in progress, if a secret can be such as that!

Manic Monday

If your house was burning and you only had time to rescue three non-living things what would they be?

Photos of my aunt on the stairway, one in her police uniform and the other in formal evening wear and my purse.

If you were to take a week long car trip with your family or friends, what complaint are you most likely to hear from your fellow travelers? What complaint would they most likely hear from you?

If I fell asleep in the car they probably would complain that I snored. I would probably complain about missed exits or driving too fast or tailgating!

What or who encourages the child in you to come out and play?

Cyber Cruise Ball ~ Here I come!

Here is my chosen attire for Captain Lifecruiser's Cyber Cruise Ball aboard the Cyber Cruise tonight!

I liked the colours and style. It's very spring like! Not too formal, but hey! I got it at Nordstroms.

It is a Donna Ricco Overlay Halter Dress and at $158 it was a steal!!

Now accessories do make the outfit.

What did I chose?

Giuseppe Zanotti Jeweled T-Strap Sandal at $650.00, but price should never become an object when it comes to shoes, don't you agree?

Judith Leiber Limited Edition Venus Miniaudiere clutch purse, a mere $3,995.00 ~ it encapsulates the oceanic perspective of a cruise, con't you think?

Devon Leigh Quartz & Cubic Zirconia Dangle Earrings only $225, after the last extravagant purchase, I thought I should hold back a bit.

The Shaesby White Topaz Briolette Necklace is simple but elegant, and will go with everything, don't you think? Oh, I almost forgot, silly me. $375.00.

Last, the piece de resistance, a statement ring, JudeFrances Peridot & Diamond Ring, a little pricey at $3070, but I'm worth it!

Grand total.

And I had a ball!!

Today Captain Lifecruiser sent us out to look for our party dresses for the Cyber Cruise Ball to be held on Saturday.

Thursday Thirteen #87, my #37

1. Easter is a holiday that promises new beginnings.
2. We are reminded that there is truly no end after this world.
3. I like that.
4. While observing Lent, we are reflective of what Jesus did for us.
5. It sometimes brings us to tears, when we think about it.
6. I like the fact that there is not as much hype commercially about Easter as there is for Christmas (though there is still alot!)
7. Growing up, for Easter we usually got a new piece of clothing and a chocolate bunny or egg.
8. We'd always have an Easter Egg hunt as well.
9. We continue that tradition in our family with our kids, even though they are mostly all young adults!
10. The Bunny is always placed on their chair at the kitchen table.
11. One of my kids always gets white chocolate now since she expressed an interest in it one year over milk chocolate.
12. There's usually extra bunnies in the bag too! Hey how'd those get in there?
13. Must be my penchant for chocolate and peanut butter. Out comes the jar, the knife, a glass of milk ... now where's that bunny? LOL
